What: The 25th annual Matzo Ball. The holiday party claims to have sparked over 1,000 marriages.
When: December 24 at 8 p.m.
How much: VIP ticket is $65, which includes five-course sharing menu and one beverage per person, General admission, $30.
2) Hearty
What: A few Hanukkah specials including: chopped liver with challah toast, smoked beef brisket with potato sage latke, carrot & dried fruit tzimmes and sufganiyot (a traditional Israeli jelly doughnut) for dessert.

3) City Provisions
What: Winter holiday menu including portobello and cranberry brisket and latkes with ginger apple sauce. Expect to see a weekly latke special as well.

What: "High latke tea" featuring their ju pu platter, two kreplach and two mini latkes, or their latke platter with two latkes with a side of applesauce and sour cream. Hot tea included at no extra charge.

7) Angel Food Bakery
