Hit Dose Market Sunday for Doughnut Vault, Zingerman's, Franks n' Dawgs, La Colombe, More

Has it really been six months since Dose Market started sweeping Chicago off its collective feet? Hard to believe, but what's even more astounding is the market's stellar culinary lineup for this Sunday, Nov. 6 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. at River East Art Center.

Doughnut Vault will make its debut to introduce a mess o' new flavors and will have 1,000 doughnuts in eight different varieties for $3 each. Need a reason to get down there early? DV will have (get ready to drool): lemon poppy seed; chocolate-chocolate and buttermilk; chestnut, coconut, dreamsicle, pineapple (where the fruit is mixed into the batter as well as used for the icing); and apple cider using Seedling Fruit cider.

Have you recovered? Get ready to start drooling again because Zingerman's Creamery from Ann Arbor will be selling 12-ounce drums of gelato in paw paw, pumpkin, cinnamon and maple pecan flavors as well as peppermint and vanilla gelato sandwiches.

Great Lake will return, this time with pulled pork sandwiches on homemade bread; pans of focaccia and seasonal salads. Franks 'n Dawgs will have both smoking' trout and BLT dogs. Old Town Social will be slicing off finnocchiona and mortadella.

The south side of the room near the water where pop-ups have resided the last few markets will hold a collection of great vendors: Real Kitchen, Sweet Sensations and Rare Tea Cellar, which, in addition to tea, will have Christine Ferber jam, Plantin Truffle products, Bourbon Barrel soy sauce, Jean Marc vinegars and more.
