LAKEVIEW— Reactions pour in over a Lakeview development proposal crafted for a site on Halsted near Bradley Place. The condo project will bring mostly studios and one-beds to the area, with a cluster of two-beds at each end of the L-shaped tower. 46,000 sf of retail space comes along for the ride.

OAK PARK— The PriceChopper visits Oak Park to relive the carnage of four deep price cuts to this intense estate home. Down nearly 40% since its '09 listing, the Robert Seyfarth-designed brick colonial is inching toward six-figures.

IRVING PARK— Curbed deals with a strange listing here, something of an overblown shack with flashy modern interiors. Back on the market after a collapsed deal, the ask is a very reasonable $409,900.

WEST TOWN— A truly one-of-a-kind home (and we don't often buy Realtor superlatives), 1406 W Erie is built into the shell of a 1920s soda pop factory, enmeshed in a now thoroughly residential district. Awesome interior textures and a walled front courtyard are the standouts of the single-story house. Asking $710,000.
