Late on Tuesday, Janet Rausa Fuller, the current food editor for the Sun-Times, circulated an email announcing she would step down from her post on Dec. 12. After 13 years with the paper (she was food editor for the last four), Fuller is leaving to explore new opportunities.
But first Fuller will focus on spending time with her family, which includes two young daughters. As she wrote to Eater, she will soon begin working on "plan B" and strives to stay connected to the food world. As for why she's leaving the paper now? "It just feels like the right time to do this."
