Bar Toma Now Slated for Late November Opening

Another one of the most-anticipated openings of the fall, Bar Toma now doesn't look like it'll be opening up until the end of November. The website for Tony Mantuano's new project is now live, but other than having some playful caricatures like a water buffalo head (for mozzarella), a gelato cone, an espresso filter holder, pizza wheel and and an olive pitter, it doesn't reveal much about the restaurant.

What is known already, however, is that the Spiaggia chef/owner has wanted to open a casual Italian bar featuring gelato, high-quality espresso, a mozzarella bar, pizza, small plates and more.
