Prasino Closed After Cab Crashes Through Windows

This morning around 10:15, a cab driving westbound on Division Street lost control and crashed through the front windows of Prasino, shattering three of the seven glass panels that front the restaurant and causing some damage to furniture, dishes and glassware.

According Jessica Lee, the company's controller, there were about five tables dining at the time and a booth where one woman was sitting was hit by the cab. The diner wasn't seriously hurt, Lee said, but was taken to a nearby hospital to be checked out. Because of the damage sustained to the property, Prasino will remained closed today, but will reopen for business on Friday.
