Get ready to start slurping. Takashi Yagihashi's long-awaited River North restaurant, The Slurping Turtle, will finally open on Sunday, Nov. 27 Monday Nov. 28. The eatery, which will have a menu featuring authentic Japanese fare like ramen, dumplings, sashimi and bincho grilled items, will start with lunch and dinner service.
