Welcome to Eater's latest feature, Shit People Steal, in which we ask restaurateurs what items in their restaurant have been (or are frequently) stolen.

If you've missed reading out what Shit People Steal from local restaurants, we have a new installment courtesy of the Purple Pig, where chef Jimmy Bannos, Jr., said, "people will steal anything." The restaurant actually filmed a video featuring Bannos talking about what happens if they catch someone ("they feel pretty stupid") and if they get away with taking something (they charge them for it on their bill). And if you've been to the Pig, you know there's a lot of porcine tchotchkes, like pig bowls, small ceramic pig statues—even plain glass water bottles—and more that can fit into a bag.

But Bannos warns that because of their stealth food runners and having an open kitchen that would-be thieves rarely get away with the goods. But don't take it from us, go watch the video.
