Chicago is about to get a little taste of Seattle. Well, at least we're about to get one of their chefs. Eater Seattle noted that Eric Rivera, the sous chef at Blueacre Seafood, is heading to Alinea. The chef will step into a new role created by Grant Achatz: culinary liaison. In his new job, Rivera will be responsible for standardizing chef's recipes into a new kitchen manual, research, assorted kitchen work and documenting new dishes via photos and video. [Eater Seattle]
