The Traffic Jam food truck will debut Thursday night at the weekly Food Truck Thursdays held in the parking lot of Ethyl's Beer & Wine Dive between 6 and 9.
Traffic Jam owner Anthony Fiore said they'll sell $4 tasting portions of Jam's corned beef (with horseradish cream cheese on marbled rye) and a soft scrambled egg sandwich with braised pork shoulder, ricotta salata and pickled plums on French bread. The tasting portions, he said, will be filling, but not so large that patrons can't enjoy food from other trucks.
The Traffic Jam truck will join Wagyu Wagon, the Slide Ride, Haute Sausage, the Southern Mac & Cheese truck and Starfruit. Fiore said they'll get a feel on where they want to set up on Friday, but for updates, follow the truck's Twitter feed: @trafficjamfood. In related news, Ethyl's is no longer open for lunch. The restaurant is open for dinner only Wednesday through Saturdays and, of course, the bar is always serving.
