Mayor Richard Daley doesn't like the idea of a $20 admission fee for Taste of Chicago. At a press conference today, Daley didn't go so far as to say he'd ding the bid by Celebrate Chicago, but said charging patrons $20 for nights and weekends was "unacceptable." He said the long-running food-fest needs to focus on food, not bigger-name musical acts. "It's called Taste of Food. We're not in it for music, we're not in it for anything else ... we're not Milwaukee." Taste of food. Taste of Chicago. Whichever. [Tribune]
