With all the closures that happened after New Year's Eve, one place shuttered quite quietly. We got a tip that Adobo Grill served its last chile relleno Dec. 31. The popular Nuevo Latino restaurant was nearing the end of its Division Street lease and apparently the landlord has been eyeing the space for a while to open his own bar or restaurant, according to an Adobo staffer who answered when we called late Monday afternoon.
As for what will go into the space we're not sure. Don't worry about not getting your Adobo on since you can simply head over to the restaurant's Old Town location, which remains open for fresh-lime margaritas and that awesome table-side guac. If you hear any rumblings about what this location will become or see anything else going on around town, drop us a note.
