OpenTable today announced its list of the top 50 restaurants in the U.S. that are "Fit for Foodies," based on voting done by its users and Chicago grabs eight spots.
The list, posted alphabetically and not in order of best to, well, less best since these are the top 50 out of countless restaurants on OpenTable throughout the country, only takes into account restaurants that use the reservation system. Therefore places like Alinea and avec didn't make the cut because the former has its own reservation system and the latter doesn't take reservations at all.
The awards were based on more than seven million user reviews on OpenTable, so making the list of the top 50 is pretty significant. The eight Chicago spots include Blackbird, Bonsoiree, Girl & The Goat, Graham Elliot, Mado, Sprout, Takashi and the Publican.
Now go book your spot, earn your OT points and wait for that $50 gift card to arrive in the mail.
