Maude's Liquor Bar Coming Along

Looks like things are on track at Maude's Liquor Bar to hit that late fall opening. Owner Brendan Sodikoff keeps tabs on the progress through the restaurant's blog and they posted some new pictures last week, showing the improvements. The space, which formerly housed Vivo sibling Vice, has become much lighter and brighter, as if it was white washed.

The exposed brick has a natural tone, windows in the second level are boxed in, about a half dozen mismatched antique chandeliers now hang from the ceiling, the bar is stained and the exterior is being made to look as if it's been a functioning bar for a century.

For up-to-date images of the space, check out the blog.
