Another sign Chicago winter sucks: Starting today, Matt Maroni will only serve lunch from his popular Gaztro-Wagon food truck. With the temps dropping, it's just getting too cold to stay out and offer dinner service once the sun goes down, Maroni said. So until Chicago comes out of our Arctic freeze, likely sometime around April, you'll only see the truck during the day.
Maroni will continue to serve lunch and dinner at his Edgewater storefront, where it's nice and toasty. This week, the wagon will hit various locations, including Harpo Studios, the AON Center and the Merchandise Mart. On Wednesday, the truck will make a special stop outside the future GT Fish & Oyster space, where chef Giuseppe Tentori will give us a preview of what he'll be cooking at his new restaurant. Stay on top of the truck's lunch whereabouts through Twitter.
