BRIDGEPORT—Residents in this South Side neighborhood went scrambling when they lost their Jewel a few years back and things got worse when the Egg Store produce market closed about a year ago. But now they won't have to travel far for fresh produce and packaged goods as Cermak Fresh Market, an 18,000 square-foot store will rise on the former Jewel site at 3033 S. LINCOLN SQUARE—While the sprawling bazaar in the Loop takes place all month, the Christkindl Market in Lincoln Square only goes on for three days, Dec. 3-5.
