Voting continues today for the first annual Eater Awards! On Monday we will celebrate the restaurateurs, chefs, restaurants and bartenders that make Chicago stand out as a culinary destination. But we need your help. For our four main categories, we are putting forth our nominees and requesting that Eater readers vote to narrow the field down to three. Editors will choose the winner from the top three.
Yesterday, voting began on Best 2010 Restaurant in Chicago and the Hottest Restaurant in Chicago Right Now. Now it's time to choose the city's best chef of 2010. Polls are open now until Friday at 5pm; voting irregularities will be strictly policed.
UPDATE: We realized that we mistakenly forgot to include the Purple Pig's Jimmy Bannos, Jr. as a nominee for one of Chicago's best chefs of 2010. He deserves to be on the list and now is. We apologize for this oversight.
