Looks like the battle for the ultimate pig is heating up. While five chefs will ultimately duke it out during Cochon 555, which was announced last week that it's coming to Chicago in March, two have already stepped up for the challenge.
Former Blackbird chef de cuisine Mike Sheerin and Sepia executive chef Andrew Zimmerman will participate in the pig smackdown. During the competition, five chefs go head-to-tail, each armed with a heritage breed pig. Chefs are also paired with a sommelier and participants, who each shell out $125 for general admission tickets, are the ultimate winners.
