Not an Izakaya?

We love Takashi Yagihashi's namesake Michelin-starred Bucktown spot and the idea of him opening a more downscale (albeit with upscale food) izakaya-like 70-seater next summer in River North frankly makes us giddy. With shochu, sake, sashimi, soba, shumai, yakitori (ahh, something that doesn't start with 's') and more, this will no doubt give Xoco a run for its money at lunch. [WBEZ]
