Yelper Claims Has Michelin Guide; Books Not Sent Early

Chicago's food blogs exploded this afternoon after a Yelper claimed to allegedly have been sent an early copy of the 2011 Chicago Michelin Guide.

While we're awaiting a call back, we were initially told that the books were, in fact, not mailed early so the possibility of Yelper David "Primo" R. having a guide is highly suspect. Sure, the list, giving Alinea and L20 both three stars, looks pretty solid. However, avec, one of the foodiest spots in Chicago, was not mentioned, which leaves us scratching our heads.

We'll keep you posted as we learn more info. Ah, the stress that must be running through Chicago's kitchens as we type...
