Even though Esquire writer Josh Ozersky may not dig on Five Guys' burgers, a whole mess o' others surely do. That's why the Virginia-based chain is expanding like mad in the Chicago market. They just opened a new spot in Evanston, which is not too far from the one on Loyola's campus in Rogers Park. And we just got word that Five Guys just signed a lease for a new Lakeview location, bringing the city total to four.
Five Guys will open its doors in the heart of Boystown at 3219 N. Broadway. Ironically, it'll be next to a L.A. Boxing gym and across the street from Lakeview Athletic Club. Looks like this may be one of the first guilt-free Five Guys to open. What better way to justify scarfing down a bacon cheeseburger with a side of cajun fries?
