While Papa Ray's Pizza & Wings is getting close to opening their second spot, plans are already underway to sprout three more locations in 2011. They're working on their Lincoln Park and Hyde Park restaurants with the third still up in the air.
No strangers to the pizza biz, owners (and brothers) John and George Rayyan cut their chops as partners in Pinocchio’s Pizza. Their come from a line of casual eatery owners. Their uncles own Dear Franks in Deerfield and Upper Crust Bagel in Northbrook.
If all goes as planned, the Uptown location will open on Monday and the neighborhood is ready for it. And if the Rayyan's plans go as, well, planned, they're on their way to having a nice little pizza empire throughout Chicago.
