Maude's Liquor Bar Getting Darker and Sexier

If you've followed the progress at Maude's Liquor Bar blog you know how far this place has come in the last month—it's hard to believe Vice was ever there. From little touches like fleur de lis etchings and vintage chandeliers to darkening the interior and giving the exterior a swank, masculine edge, Maude's is clearly becoming that sassy French courtesan it promises to be.

An email from owner Brendan Sodikoff the other day said they're likely still a few weeks out, but the updated pictures on the blog suggest differently. The space is really looking sexy and we can't wait to see what chef Jeff Pikus pulls together.
