Cinnamon Apple Cupcakes with Honey Frosting for Rosh Hashana?!

Our pal Helen over at MenuPages attempted to get creative with an apples-and-honey dessert to tie in with her family's Rosh Hashana celebration. While her attempt apparently failed miserably (she ended up getting some sort of pumpkin dessert), we wanted to pass along the recipe in case you're feeling a tad more secure with your baking abilities. It seems easy enough: first you gotta make the cinnamon apple cupcakes and then top them with the honey frosting. Hey, just because Helen couldn't pull it off (in her defense, she did say the frosting kicked ass), this frosting recipe is from Martha (the cupcake recipe -- from the Cupcake Project -- offers a frosting option, too). So if she can do it, you can too, right? I mean, come on -- Martha? Who's she?
