Service and landlord issues forced the owners of Vintage Wine Bar to shut down last week. The closing came without warning and guests to Vintage found themselves locked out with a large padlock. "We tried unsuccessfully to work with our landlord regarding our lease and some service related issues," said owner Tony Basich. "We were unable to compromise and subsequently we are no longer there." Basich told TOC that his group is working on opening a new wine bar on Chicago Avenue and in talks to open a restaurant as well. [TOC]
