Eater Inside: Chicago Downtown Farmstand

Last week, the city unveiled its new (soon-to-be) year-round indoor market the Downtown Farmstand. While we had hoped for something that might rival SF's Ferry Building, it looks like we're getting more of a storefront with really fresh, local products. We hope the MetraMarket will have a lot more to offer, but for a starter, the Downtown Farmstand ain't that bad. At least come next winter, our produce will be green and not brown.
