Crowds descended upon Turin, Italy this past weekend for a five-day slow-food festival cum food orgy. It was five days of tastings, which drew 170,000 visitors (20 percent flew in from around the world), to taste and pay homage to traditional preparations of local cuisine. [SFGate via ESF]
