Half Acre Beer is quickly building out their new home in North Center. We spoke with owner Gabe Magliaro who said things are moving along step by step and they're looking at a "January ... ish" opening. Gabe also revealed that they will have a retail space that will sell small batch beers and products from other local craftsmen and producers. The small batch Half Acre will only be available at the retail space.
These are some pix of the new brewing tanks, which they hauled in from a brewery in Colorado, and their new building at 4257 N. Lincoln. Meanwhile, if you just can't wait for them to get up and running, hang out this Friday at Sully's Tap, where the Half Acre guys will be pouring beers. Or find them at one of these joints.
