A paper put out by a reference librarian at UIC says Chicago-area restaurateurs collectively are the most creative when it comes to naming a restaurant with a pun. Librarian Lynn Westney published "Dew Drop Inn and Lettuce Entertain You: Onomastic Sobriquets in the Food and Beverage Industry" after digging up more than 200 clever names. While Lawrence of Oregano was one of the more clever, Westney says it's really the hot dog stands, like Weiner's Circle and Mustard's Last Stand, that push Chicago over the top. [RedEye]
