Anyone who lunches downtown -- yes, we're talking to all you nipped and tucked blue hairs -- is all too familiar with the Oak Tree, that venerable spot atop the Bloomingdale's building. We bet y'all can't wait to get back in for your Cobb salads but you're going to have to wait a bit longer. According to a recording on the new Oak Tree Restaurant and Bakery's answering machine, they're saying it'll re-open sometime this fall (Dish originally said it would re-open this week). But others have it pegged specifically for Nov. 15. Either way, we can't wait to see those ladies push each other out of the way for their omelets!
