Sugar Factory is opening soon over at Grand and Wabash. Reservations are live for the restaurant chain’s first Chicago location, with Nov. 1 the first available reservation date at 55 E. Grand Ave. They first entered the market in 2014 over in suburban Rosemont.
Over in Rosemont, the restaurant brought over its over-the-top desserts and drinks that attracted celebrities like Katy Perry and the Kardashians to other locations in Miami and Las Vegas. There’s no details when and if they’ll host an opening party and lure a celebrity guest. Kylie Jenner and Nick Cannon hosted an opening soiree in Rosemont back in 2014.
The windows remain papered up over at the former Seasons 52 space. The interiors have an old-timey ice cream parlor feel. But once the sun sets, it turns over to a space where bachelorette parties and other groups can have a little fun.
River North looks to be an ideal location for the restaurant, giving customers who don’t want to graze along Hubbard a place to hang out at night. Stay tuned for more info as it comes in.
